Field trips are to be of educational or cultural value and directly related to the curriculum. They are planned at the discretion of the teacher and principal. A field trip is a privilege, not a right. Any student can be denied participation if he or she fails to meet academic or behavioral requirements. Efforts are made to control costs; however, filed trips must be paid for by the individual student/parent.
**Any parent interested in chaperoning for a school field trip must be Virtus trained and fingerprinted and provide proof to the school office.
