Summer Reading 2017

To enhance your child's reading skills during the summer, build vocabulary and to strengthen literacy skills, all students have been assigned a book to read. Please see the attached list with the required book for each grade level. Be prepared for quizzes and writing assignments upon return. Happy reading!

New Student Testing

Appointments are available for all prospective students for the week of June 19-23 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The assessment fee is $35. Contact the admissions department to schedule a time for your child to test at 818-894-8659 or at marketing@olpeace.org.

Join Us for a Summer of Learning & Fun

OLP will host an academic summer program for students in grades Kinder through 7th grade June 26 to July 21 from 8:00 am to 12 noon. Boys and Girls Club will host the afternoon from 12 noon to 6:00 pm with fun activities and local field trips. All forms can be accessed here. Contact the School for further information at

Congratulations 8th Grade!

The 8th graders celebrated their final mass with Father Mike! The entire school and community are invited to share in the Graduation Mass on Tuesday, June 13 at 5:30 pm. Thank you to all who have taken the time to be a part of the student's educational journey.

Marian Day 2017

Join us Saturday, May 20th for Marian Day--a multicultural celebration of faith and culture at Our Lady of Peace School. Festivities begin at 2:00 pm.

Earth Day Movie

In celebration of Earth Day, students in grades 3, 4 and 5 visited the El Capitan Theater to watch the movie Born in China. The sweet movie gives the audience a chance to see life in the frigid mountains and the bamboo forest from the animal perspective. Great job Tigers!
