Hello Parents and Students,

My name is Ms. Alvarez and I am the third and fourth grade teacher at Our Lady of Peace. I graduated from California State University Northridge, receiving my degree in Child and Adolescent Development. I received my Masters Degree at Loyola Marymount University in the summer of 2023.  I have previous experience as a teacher in a morning and after school program, and I have also worked in therapy for people with disabilities from ages 2-25. This is my fourth year at OLP, and I am proud to be an OLP Tiger! OLP holds a special place in my heart, along with the children, staff and its mission.  I strive to create a space for our students to explore their own learning styles, and I'm here to help develop their interests and guide their mastery of the academic standards.  This year will be a fun and great learning experience for our students! I will be able to answer any questions, help with assignments, and problem solve in order to help our OLP students succeed.
